our conversation group was hosted by our lebanese organizer, who cooked us a special lebanese lunch. the table was laid with hummus, a feta and tomato salad, an okra and tomato cold stew, flat bread, salad, eggplant babaganoush and more. it was delicious and i had seconds and was happily full. then, our hostess said she was bringing out the main course! i had thought that the salads were the whole lunch! she made a chicken and rice casserole and then a goopy cinnamony dessert. lastly, we finished with the champagne from a previous meeting.
meanwhile, i’m not doing enough painting and i still need to loosen up.
