today is p’s birthday. we went out to a cafe in the morning. we brought maynard. it’s so nice that you can bring dogs along to cafes and restaurants. it is starting to get a little warmer, so we sat in the semi outside area that has a heater. then p went to work. then in the evening, he wanted to have a french dinner, so we went to “la galoise”, a local old fashioned french restaurant where we like the ambiance. we both had the giant shrimp. i enjoyed the dinner, but p wasn’t so enthralled with his.
p has been working very hard and long days, and feels that he is not experiencing enough of being in paris. we have resolved to try to go out to eat once a week on a weeknight – if he can get back in time.
for his present, he got a "kindle"!
nice gift, a Kindle....David got me one for Valentine's. Much to my surprise, I'm loving it.
